We had a wonderful time. We threw a birthday party. Coach Bevin was wonderful and really got us to get good fast. The staff across the board were also very helpful and nice. Super recommend.
If you want to throw an ax this is the place to do it! The instructors were great the place is well organized, and it's tougher than it looks. But once you get the hang of it it was a lot of fun. We played games on the ax throwing board. You can bring in your own food! They supply the drinks.
Parking is a bit tight on cold water, I guess you can park across the street at the businesses after 7:00. It was about $40 per person for 2 hours. Had a great time time for friends birthday.
Cool experience! The staff was exceptional! We were trained by caring and professional coaches. We were outside, but there’s indoor throwing as well. There’s lots of space to spread out. Fun games like giant Jenga and cornhole, for when your taking a break. Nice drink selection at the bar too. Yes alcohol is sold here. Yay!
I went here for my birthday with a few friends and had a blast!
The music, the atmosphere, the folks running the place were all top notch and made it a night to remember. Gabby was our party host and showed us how to throw. She couldn’t have been more kind, encouraging, and honestly helpful getting us up to speed on how to get that dang ax to stick on the board!
Thank you LA AX for such a great time!
Super fun venue!! I planned an office party at this location and they made the coordination a breeze. We were able to get a great drink package value, and customize with our food and decor. The employees were extremely helpful and hands-on the day of with setup & breakdown. Our instructors were also very friendly and encouraging and made first-time axe-throwing easy and so much fun!! Big shoutout to our instructors Sam, Mo, Rory and Grassy, as well as the bartenders, Thomas and David.
The only issue we had was that parking can be a bit tricky, especially for larger groups, so just make sure your guests are fully aware of this and plan ahead to find street parking and you'll be good to go!!
Place was pretty cool. First time throwing axes. Great place to hangout with friends. There is alcohol but there is a limit of 3 drinks per person. We went with a big group and we had someone as an instructor. Would come again.
I came for a birthday party, and I think it’s a great activity. To reserve an area for a larger party, it will cost a little bit more-but then at least you guarantee your area. You can bring your own food like a cake or I saw another group with sushi and your table sits right behind where you throw your axes. Each group is given an instructor, who kind of guides you and encourages you to hit the wall. I didn’t think I’d like it, but it was actually pretty fun. It’s an easy activity for a group, especially if people haven’t done it before.
The perfect place to spend a few hours. Everyone is very nice, helpful and the atmosphere is fun, yet safe. I can't wait to go again in a few weeks. Josh is a very kind and intelligent teacher. I can learn more from him I'm sure.
My son and his friends brought me here. I'm retired and now a convert-lol. Axe throwing sounds like more fun than a bowling league, for me, and maybe other like minded humans.
I would say come by and watch first, you just might get hooked too.🙂. Have a great day no matter what you do. Namaste.💚💚💚
